Allenchrome Electroplating Ltd offer a full service to customers in
relation to nickel and chrome plating. Their expertise in these processes
stem from years of experience in the trade backed up by the necessary
technical support, including an in-house laboratory facility.
Nickel has become a commonly used metal finish in recent years. It is a
shiny, silver like metal and is both resistant and hard wearing. With the
right manufacturing processes, it will give good corrosion protection. On
occasion it can be used for its corrosion protection qualities. |

Nickel will dull off if not regularly polished like other comparable metals
but because it provides such a hard consistency, almost all appropriate
proprietary cleaners can be used without causing damage to the finish. Many
customers choose nickel because they like the attractive finish which develops
as it ages.
Chromium plating, on the other hand, is now a familiar finish and its
brilliant bluish white appearance is commonly recognised. The deposit does not
tarnish and requires only occasional cleaning with soap and water, or wiping
with a soft cloth, to return the appearance to its original
sheen.
The company prides itself on the quality of its work. It does not cut corners
and provides the customer with what they want through care and attention to
detail.
